About Your Trip

Hit the water with Captain Cheryl and embark on an action-packed adventure in Galveston Bay! In the bay you will be hopping from jetty to jetty in search of the best fishing holes. The jetties are home to a variety of species, including Red and Black Drum, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Tripletail, giving you the unique experience of catching offshore fish inshore. You’ll be targeting all of these species and more on your half-day or full day adventure!

On this trip, Captain Cheryl uses her 26-foot Century center console equipped with twin 200 HP engines, making the ride out to your destination both smooth and quick. The spacious deck can fit up to 6 anglers, all with rods in hand. There is also a cooler and a live bait well on board.

Captain Cheryl will provide all rods, reels, tackle, and bait. She will also clean and package your day’s catch at no extra cost. All you need to bring is some food, drinks of your choice, a hat, sunscreen, and a cooler to take home your fish. Bring your kids or your angling buddies with you and embark on a thrilling adventure with Captain Cheryl!

Capt. Bubba let us catch some live bait and then took us to the Bull Reds and everyone caught their limit and had plenty of catch and release after.

Great experience . We were booked where anther captain could not take us and Captain Bubba gladly took us on. Captain Bubba knew what bait to bring which allowed catching experiences for us where the other boats were not catching . Highly recommend !!!

We had an unbelievable time with Capt. Cheryl and first mate Thomas! They were kind enough to take us out for a super last minute half day trip and did not disappoint. Within minutes of anchoring at the jetties, we were catching slot redfish and black drum. Things escalated quickly once we found the spot, and we pulled in TWO 40 inch plus redfish from there. Capt. Cheryl and Thomas kept our hooks baited, kept multiple lines in the water at all times, and kept the vibes positive and fun. We went out today with Captain Joe. He was fabulous!! We were a party of one man, one eight-year-old boy, and two seniors- a man and a woman. Captain Joe related well to everyone! He was funny, polite, knowledgeable, good spirited, and an excellent guide. We were especially impressed by the way Captain Joe worked with out young fisherman in bringing in two great (and big) fish. He has our highest rating.

I had so much fun with our Captain Jojo. He was friendly, kind, and made my trip a trip to remember. Right away you could tell he had experience and knowledge and shared it with us throughout the trip.
