About Your Trip

Head out with Captain Cheryl to chase the Sharks! They might seem frightening in the movies you've seen but once you get face to face with them, you'll realize there's nothing to be afraid of, and only big fights to be had! Kids are more than welcome to join in on this trip, sharks are always an exciting catch for the youngins! Reeling in a monster shark is definitely a bucket-list adventure, so get ready to cross this off your list!

Captain Cheryl’s 26’ Century center console is the perfect shark hunting vessel. The twin Mercury engines have a total horsepower of 400hp, making the ride fast and smooth. The live bait well on board will hold the bait provided by Captain Cheryl until it is time to put it on the hook and drop a line. Don’t worry–the spacious deck has room for up to 6 anglers to battle sharks at once, so this trip is full of action.

Everything you need is provided on your trip, including rods, reels, bait, and tackle all suited for hauling in sea monsters. All you need to bring with you are your favorite snacks and drinks, and your Texas fishing licenses for all adventurers over 16 years old. Make sure to wear appropriate clothing for the weather, and close-toed shoes. This trip promises to be a blast!

We had an unbelievable time with Capt. Cheryl and first mate Thomas! They were kind enough to take us out for a super last minute half day trip and did not disappoint. Within minutes of anchoring at the jetties, we were catching slot redfish and black drum. Things escalated quickly once we found the spot, and we pulled in TWO 40 inch plus redfish from there. Capt. Within minutes of anchoring at the jetties, we were catching slot redfish and black drum. Things escalated quickly once we found the spot, and we pulled in TWO 40 inch plus redfish from there. Capt. Cheryl and Thomas kept our hooks baited, kept multiple lines in the water at all times, and kept the vibes positive and fun. I can’t recommend them more highly, thanks for putting me on my personal best redfish. This one will be tough to top! - Jonathan with Captain Experiences

We went out today with Captain Joe. He was fabulous!! We were a party of one man, one eight-year-old boy, and two seniors- a man and a woman. Captain Joe related well to everyone! He was funny, polite, knowledgeable, good spirited, and an excellent guide. We were especially impressed by the way Captain Joe worked with out young fisherman in bringing in two great (and big) fish. He has our highest rating.

I had so much fun with our Captain Jojo. He was friendly, kind, and made my trip a trip to remember. Right away you could tell he had experience and knowledge and shared it with us throughout the trip. We caught many fish and the big plus he did ask the hard work and I just carried my fresh caught fish home.
