Captain Eric knows the shallow coastal waters around Placida and Charlotte Harbor inside and out, and when shark season rolls around, he puts that local knowledge to work chasing some of the area's hardest-pulling predators. From April through October, Eric offers dedicated shark fishing trips designed to get anglers up close with the power and excitement these fish are known for.

For his half-day shark trips, Eric fishes aboard an 18' Sterling flats boat, giving him the ability to work the bays, passes, flats, and other productive shallow-water areas where sharks regularly cruise and feed. These trips are limited to just 2 guests, creating a private, hands-on experience where Eric can tailor the fishing to your group. Morning and evening departures are available, allowing you to take advantage of productive conditions while avoiding the heat of the middle of the day.

Groups looking for a longer adventure can also join Eric for a 6-hour shark fishing trip aboard his airboat. The airboat opens up another side of the Charlotte Harbor area, allowing Eric to cover shallow water and reach areas that conventional boats can't always access.

For something completely different, Eric also offers a 6-hour nighttime combination trip that splits your adventure between shark fishing and bowfishing. You'll spend part of the trip battling sharks on rod and reel before switching gears and exploring the shallows after dark from the airboat with bowfishing equipment. It's an action-packed way to experience two very different styles of Florida fishing in a single outing.

Whether you're looking to spend a morning targeting sharks, dedicate six hours to finding a serious predator, or combine shark fishing with a night of bowfishing, Eric will put you in position for an unforgettable adventure on the waters surrounding Placida and Charlotte Harbor.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
