About Your Trip

Climb aboard with Captain Brad and spend the day drifting some of northeastern Pennsylvania's most scenic trout water. These float trips are a great way to cover more river, reach stretches that are difficult to access on foot, and experience the Pocono Mountains from an entirely different perspective.

Depending on water levels, conditions, and where the fishing has been best, Brad can float productive stretches of the Lehigh River and Upper Delaware. Along the way,
you'll work through deep pools, riffles, slick runs, and changing currents in search of wild and stocked trout.

Every trip is built around the anglers on board. New fly anglers can learn the basics of casting, managing line, reading water, and getting a good drift while Brad works the boat. Experienced anglers can focus on technical presentations, changing hatches, and putting flies in front of fish tucked into harder-to-reach water.

Brad is a Pocono native who has spent his life fishing the waters of northeastern Pennsylvania. That local experience allows him to adjust the day's game plan based on water levels, weather, hatches, and seasonal fish behavior rather than sticking to the same stretch of river every trip.

Rods, reels, flies, leaders, tippet, and other necessary tackle are provided, and waders and boots are available upon request. Conventional tackle can also be provided for anglers who would rather fish traditional gear.

Full-day trips include lunch, snacks, and beverages. You'll need to bring a valid Pennsylvania fishing license and trout permit along with polarized sunglasses, a billed hat, sunscreen, bug spray, a rain jacket, and appropriate layers for the day's conditions.

From a quick half-day float to a full day spent working your way down the river, this is an opportunity to slow down, cover some beautiful Pocono water, and learn more about trout fishing along the way.
