About Your Trip

Hit the waters off Ponce Inlet with Captain John for a nearshore and offshore fishing adventure targeting some of Florida's most popular game fish!

Choose between a 5 or 6-hour trip depending on how far you want to venture and how much time you want on the water. On the 5-hour option, you'll fish up to roughly 12 miles offshore, working local reefs and productive waters for King Mackerel, Black Seabass, Cobia, Snapper, Grouper, and more.

Step up to the 6-hour trip and Captain John can push as far as roughly 20 miles offshore, giving you additional time and range to mix up bottom fishing and trolling. Depending on the season and conditions, you'll be looking for Kingfish, Amberjack, Snapper, Sharks, and whatever else is biting.

Captain John will adjust the game plan around the conditions and what's been producing, whether that means dropping baits over structure or putting out a trolling spread and covering water.

You'll fish aboard a comfortable 26' Trophy Pro powered by twin 150 HP Suzuki four-stroke engines and outfitted with Penn and Shimano fishing gear, navigational electronics, and all necessary safety equipment.

Rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses are provided. Bring your snacks and drinks along with sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and anything else you'd like for your time on the water.

Captain John can accommodate up to 5 guests, including children ages 5 and up.

Born and raised in Florida, John has been fishing for as long as he can remember and now puts that experience to work helping anglers make the most of their time on the Atlantic. Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
