About Your Trip

Travel to the offshore "sword grounds" with Captain Preston and fish heavy tackle targeting Swordfish, the gladiators of the sea. Fort Lauderdale swordfishing is Captain Preston's specialty and he is thrilled to take you on the trip of a lifetime. The giant sea monsters are hard to find and put up an epic fight once on the hook, making this full-day trip eventful and exciting.

So if you're looking to catch one of these elusive
sea creatures, look no further, and join Captain Preston (a Fort Lauderdale native) aboard his 37’ SeaVee. The vessel comfortably fits up to 6 guests and is powered by triple 300HP Mercury engines, which make for a smooth and speedy ride to the sword grounds. Using the 16 JL Audio speakers and subwoofers, you can bump tunes as you speed through the swells. While the trip is targeting Swordfish, on the way you will throw in some trolling lines in the hopes that a Mahi Mahi or Tuna might bite.

This trip includes all the best rods, reels, tackle, and bait to maximize your chances of landing these monsters of the deep. If you want to keep a trophy, Captain Preston has taxidermy options. All you need to bring is sun protection, food, and beverages to keep yourself at 100% throughout the day. You might want to bring a camera as well, to capture memories that will last forever!

I would caution against taking youngsters or people with medical problems this time of year (November) because you must hang on with the big waves. Suzanne
