About Your Trip

Get out there and get after it with Captain Tom, one of the Outer Banks' best guides for all levels of angler, from kids to experienced fish-fighters. On this trip, you'll fish the inshore waters around the OBX, hunting a variety of species across several different habitats. The opportunities are endless, from sightcasting for Cobia or trolling for Mackerel to fishing shallows for Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum, and more. You'll employ a range of techniques to find and hook up on these fish, and then practice your strength, stamina, and skill as you fight them onto the deck.

On the day of the trip, you'll head out aboard Captain Tom's beautiful 26' Privateer centerconsole, a fast and versatile boat meant to handle anything from inshore to offshore waters. She can really kick when needed, powered by a 300hp Yamaha outboard.

Captain Tom will bring everything you need for a perfect day, including rods, reels, bait, and tackle. To maximize your experience on the water, remember a pair of polarized sunglasses, weather-appropriate clothing, a hat, and sunscreen.
