These are rich fishing grounds for a variety of species, so expect to try out a number of different techniques for finding and fighting these fish. Captain Bud is an experienced angler and a top-quality guide who knows how to put you on the fish and land some great memories for you and yours.

Because the Outer Banks features several different habitats, a day of fishing offers endless possibilities. Depending on the season and your preferences, you could be sightcasting for Cobia, fishing the bottom for Black Drum, or trolling for Mackerel and Striped Bass—all in one day! There are also opportunities closer to shore for Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, and Spotted Seatrout. Get ready for great fighting and great eating—Captain Bud will happily clean your catch for you.

On the day of the trip, you'll head out aboard Captain Bud's 24' Skeeter bay boat. She's a fast and versatile craft that can easily handle both the inshore and nearshore waters off of the Carolina coast, and is equipped with all of the necessities—plus a few extras to really give you an edge over the fish and ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable day.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel up to 1 day before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
