Picture this: crystal-clear sand flats, lines of giant migrating Tarpon, and you up on the bow with your fly rod in hand. Few things in the world of sport fishing compare to pursuing a Tarpon with a fly rod! These powerful, acrobatic fish are something special, and they'll leave you with an unexplainable emotion that's difficult to put into words.

These fish are the top predators in their inshore habitat, and hooking one is the experience of a lifetime. You'll chase bites using purist flyfishing techniques, which are challenging but make the act of hooking a Tarpon all that much better!

Tarpon behavior changes depending on the season, the water conditions, and even the phases of the moon, so Captain Tommy's expertise here is absolutely invaluable. He'll make sure you're rigged with the ideal patterns, and has tons of expert advice to improve your presentation, retrieve, and hookset and increase your chances of landing a big fish!

The west coast of Florida is a major migration path for the "Silver Kings", due to the bays and riverways along the coast. In fact, several world records have been caught and broken just a short boat ride from where you'll fish, so get out there and throw some lines!

Fishing and exploring the Florida outdoors are more than just hobbies to Captain Tommy—indeed, they have been his passions for as long as he can remember. As a 3rd generation native of Tarpon Springs, few are more familiar with the surrounding waters of Pinellas and Pasco Counties.

Beginning at a very early age, Captain Tommy was mentored by what many consider some of the finest fishing guides in the state. Now with over 15 years in the professional fishing and guiding industry, he has carried on their legacies while sharpening his own skill set to bring his clients extraordinary days on the water. Captain Tommy’s acumen for saltwater fishing has allowed him to win or place in several prestigious tournaments targeting inshore species, as well as billfish. Being extremely well-traveled, he has fished many exotic locations in both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.

However, nothing is dearer to his heart than the waters of southern Florida, where he excels at finding inshore gamefish including: Tarpon, snook, redfish, spotted seatrout, cobia, bonefish, and permit. Capt. Tommy also specializes in fishing for giant tarpon (including fly-fishing) in the shallows of Pinellas County as well as the legendary waters of Boca Grande, FL.

Capt. Tommy carries the 100 Ton USCG Master's License which is the highest licensing level that a fishing guide can acquire and is only obtainable by having thousands of hours on the water.
