About Your Trip

Climb aboard with our Captain for an action-packed trip on the coastal waters of Galveston! The inshores and nearshores of Galveston are perfect places to catch some of the tasty fish that the gulf is known for without going too far from the dock.

On this 4 to 6-hour trip, the Captain will cruise you around Galveston Bay or bring you to the nearshore jetties where you can target a selection of Black Drum, Blacktip
Shark, King Mackerel, Redfish, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, and Speckled Trout. To attract these tasty fish you'll be using a variety of techniques including light to heavy tackle, live bait, bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing or deep dropping. Whether you want to actively fish with rod-in-hand or lounge until a reel starts screaming, just let the Captain know what you want to catch and he'll get you set up with the best method!

On this trip you'll be fishing aboard our massive 42’ Delta sportfisher that can hold an impressive 18 people, with the first 10 passengers included in the price. Powered by twin 160 HP Caterpillar engines, this vessel will cut through the surf like butter and cruise the bay waters with ease. It comes with GPS, Fishfinder, a Flybridge, and an Ice Box to store your catches.

All rods, reels and tackle will be provided. All you need to bring is a valid Texas Fishing License with a saltwater stamp. You can also bring food and drink of your choice on board (no glass). This trip can host up to 18 people and is for anglers of all skill levels, so don't hold back on inviting friends!

We fished for only sharks. We only caught 3 sharks and also 2 catfish. Being on a boat for 6 hours it was a slow go and the most lines we had in was 4. There were 8 people on board we mainly just sat around waiting for the fish to hit. The Captain didn't really seem to have a plan. We also lost 2 fish from the hardware coming off....

Response from Captain Experiences:
Hey William, we’re sorry to hear the trip didn’t meet your expectations. It sounds like a slow day on the water, especially with so many people onboard and limited lines in the water. We understand how frustrating it can be when the action is slow and issues like losing fish come up. We appreciate your feedback and have reached out with a discount. We’d love the opportunity to give you a better experience next time!...
