This trip explores productive waters just off the Texas coast, staying within state waters and not exceeding 9 nautical miles offshore. Even within this range, the Gulf is packed with structure, reefs, and natural habitat that hold a wide mix of hard-fighting and great-eating fish, making every trip dynamic and action-filled.

Depending on conditions, season, and what is biting best, anglers can target a variety of popular Gulf species. Common catches include Snapper, Kingfish, Redfish, and Sharks, along with other nearshore and pelagic species that move through the area. The variety of available fish means every trip can feel different, with opportunities ranging from steady bottom action to fast-moving surface bites.

Fishing techniques are adjusted throughout the day to match conditions and maximize success. You may be bottom fishing around structure for snapper and other reef species, slow trolling for kingfish, or soaking bait in productive areas where larger predators are actively feeding. Everything Else to Know

-Our boat is stocked with all of the top of the line gear you will need for a great day on the water. You are more than welcome to bring your own, but please don't feel obligated to.
-Water is always stocked in the boat, but if you want any additional beverages, you will have to bring them along. NO GLASS IS PERMITTED ON THE BOAT.
-We allow alcohol but any behavior that the captain deems belligerent, will automatically end the trip with no refund.
-Anglers 17 and over are required to have a fishing license BEFORE the trip. You can purchase at TPWD
-Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses!

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Corey was great. My wife and I took a weekend trip down to Port Aransas for our anniversary and decided to book a half day fishing trip with him. He took us to several spots throughout the morning. While we ended up with four trout in the cooler, we were constantly catching fish….lots of smaller trout, a few oversized ones, and even a monster redfish. All in all, it was a really fun day on the water. Corey is personable, easygoing, and made the whole trip feel relaxed and low-stress. It was a great way to spend the morning and I’d definitely book with him again.

AMAZING!!! Our trip with COREY was exactly what we had hoped for. My husband and I took our 2 young boys fishing with Corey and he was so great with them. It was our fish time fishing salt water, and he made it a breeze. He was so good with the boys and was on top of everything the entire time. Not only did he bait their hooks, help them when reeling in and getting fish off the line, he taught them and encouraged them as well. He was so great!! Corey also had a great personality and my entire family felt like he was someone we’ve known forever. He was really an easy-going guy to be around. The weather wasn’t really in our favor, but Corey went above and beyond to make it happen for the boys. He also cleaned the fish, of course, and did it in good time. He was punctual and communicated very well :) Money well spent, and we will definitely be booking with Corey when we come back to the beach again. Great guy and great trip! :) He’s your man.

The three of us went fishing with Captain Corey on Friday 9/19/25. Captain Corey is the most conscientious captain we have ever fished/caught with. He provided his fishing knowledge and guidance without overbearance. His knowledge comes from a lifetime of boating and fishing/catching in Texas. He knew exactly where to go for catching and what to do when we got there. There was no shortage of good quality bait on board and no skimping when and where it was needed. We caught about ten Red fish and kept six with one needing a tag. Captain Corey provided us with much comfort on the boat and he was very anxious to help everyone who wanted it. We had a comfortable boat ride which included slowing down for the wake of other boats. We will definitely be asking for Captain Corey again , either in Port A and /or Galveston.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
