About Your Trip

Join Captain Kenny for a fun and action-packed half-day fishing trip designed to keep things simple, exciting, and perfect for anglers of all ages. This is one of the best options for families and kids, focusing on steady bites, easy-to-learn techniques, and plenty of time with lines in the water.

Throughout the trip, you’ll be blind casting and fishing a variety of productive structures where fish naturally gather. Depending on conditions, you’ll work areas such
as docks, drop-offs, shoreline edges, and other fish-holding structure. Captain Kenny typically uses live or dead bait to keep the action consistent, with occasional lure fishing mixed in when conditions call for it.

The goal of this trip is straightforward: keep rods bent and make sure everyone on board has a great time catching fish. Captain Kenny prioritizes approachable species and active bite patterns so both beginners and experienced anglers can enjoy steady action throughout the trip.

For smaller groups of two people or less, the experience can be even more specialized. In these cases, Captain Kenny may switch to sight fishing, allowing anglers to spot fish in the water before making precise casts. This adds an exciting visual element and a more hands-on challenge for those looking to refine their skills.

This half-day trip is ideal for families, first-time anglers, or anyone looking for a relaxed fishing experience without a long offshore run. Captain Kenny keeps the atmosphere fun and flexible, making adjustments throughout the day to stay on the best bite.

Whether you’re introducing kids to fishing or just want a laid-back day on the water with plenty of action, Captain Kenny delivers an easygoing and memorable trip focused on fun, learning, and catching fish.

I've run fishing boats, crewboats, supply boats, tugboats, and yachts in the Atlantic, Pacific, Gulf of Mexico, and Carribean. I have a ton of stories. I've spent the last 16 years honing my skills on the Indian and Banana River lagoon systems. Your saftey and enjoyment are my top priority.

Spent a half day out with Captain Kenneth! Had an amazing day fishing for black drum, mango snapper, tarpon, and snook. He did an awesome job running the boat and keeping everyone going and hooking the big ones! The questionable weather in Florida didn’t stop us from having a good time. Thank you for the great day!

Couldn’t recommend enough. Kenny was really knowledgeable, a great coach, had a great set up and made sure we had plenty of decent catches. We also got the opportunity to spot some local wildlife along the way. Would definitely book with him again in the future.
