During the summer months, the waters in Charleston harbor warm up considerably. As the water temps increase, massive schools of bait such as menhaden and mullet make their way inland. Following them are several species of Sharks and the infamous Bull Reds! (Mature Red Drum) If you're looking for the ultimate battle, there's nothing better than going up against the ocean's ultimate predator.

You’ll step aboard a beautiful 22’ Sportsman Tournament bay boat when you fish with Captain Justin. It's loaded with modern electronics and features to optimize your time on the water.

This trip targets Blacktip sharks Inshore and in the Jetties of Charleston Harbor. We will be bottom fishing with bait and heavy tackle.

Having spent his entire life fishing and navigating every creek, river and waterway in Charleston, Captain Justin has gained a tremendous wealth of knowledge and experience which provides the ability to approach each day methodically and proficiently to give his clients the greatest opportunity for an action-packed day of fishing. Through hard work and dedication Captain Justin has gained all the attributes to own and operate a safe, successful, family friendly business that excels in customer satisfaction! And with an ever-growing enthusiasm and appreciation for fishing, you won't find another captain with more passion than Captain Justin.

Born and raised right here in low country of Charleston, SC, Captain Justin grew up on the water. He began fishing the local waterways at a young age with his grandfather and uncle. What began as a hobby soon became an endless passion, which it still is to this day!

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

Captain Experiences is the home of over 1500 Damn Good fishing and hunting guides. Our mission is to unlock the outdoors for everyone, and we want to help you get out there through our no-hassle online booking experience and our team of outdoors experts.

We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.

Once you book the trip, we will connect you directly with the guide to go over any additional details. In the meantime, our team is always available to answer your questions via email, text, chat, or call!
