I started fishing out of john boats and on the banks of golf courses in central Florida, and the first time I laid a line in the Mosquito Lagoon I became obsessed. Spending every spare minute of the last decade trying to tie the perfect fly, build the perfect rod, and lay down the perfect cast.

Eventually I found that I loved working the poll just as much as I loved catching the fish, which led me to pursue guiding. Putting my clients on fish is just as exciting as hooking into my own.

Bring whatever food and drink you’d like to have throughout the day, I’ll bring the ice! You are more than welcome to bring your own rod and reel or you are more than welcome to use ours! The most important thing to remember is sun protection and polarized sunglasses, if you don’t have a pair let me know and I can bring you a pair for the day!

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Taylor was a great captain who was a joy to fish with and put us on the fish. He's an easy going guy who, despite being a younger captain, already has considerable experience in Mosquito Lagoon. He was right on time, the boat was clean and well-organized, and spotted so many fish for us. Taylor is your secret weapon in the Lagoon.
