About Your Trip

Gear up for a thrilling day of trolling on Lake Erie with Captain Nick, where Walleye and Steelhead are the stars of the show! With years of experience on these waters, Captain Nick knows exactly where to find these prized fish and how to set you up for success using tried-and-true trolling techniques. Whether you're an experienced angler or a first-timer, this is the perfect trip to experience the excitement of Lake Erie fishing.

Captain
Nick will guide you through the best methods to hook into Lake Erie’s famous Walleye and Steelhead, setting up trolling lines with light tackle to keep things exciting. As you cruise the lake, your lines will be set at varying depths to maximize your chances of hooking up with these hard-fighting fish. Walleye are known for their tasty fillets, while Steelhead will give you a powerful fight. With Captain Nick’s expertise, you’ll have every advantage as you target these two top Lake Erie species.

Your day will be spent aboard a spacious 30’ Tiara, a wide-beam vessel designed for a safe, comfortable ride on Lake Erie’s open waters. Equipped with twin 383 strokers, this boat has the power to cover plenty of ground while keeping things stable for everyone on board. There’s space for up to six passengers, so bring along friends or family to share the adventure! And with a private toilet on board, this boat is well-suited for longer trips with groups of all ages, including kids. Captain Nick also provides child-sized life vests to ensure everyone’s safety.

Captain Nick has you covered with top-quality rods, reels, tackle, and a carefully selected spread of trolling lures designed to tempt both Walleye and Steelhead. If you’re looking to take home some fresh fish, Captain Nick will help you stay within the legal limits, and there’s a fish cleaning service nearby for an additional fee. Once you’re back at the dock, you can relax and grab a bite at one of the waterfront restaurants while your catch is being cleaned and prepped.

Book now for an action-packed trolling trip on Lake Erie, and get ready to land some of the best fish this area has to offer!
