About Your Trip

Gear up for a fun-filled day of crappie fishing on the lake with Captain Ryker! Known for his friendly, family-oriented approach and deep knowledge of these waters, Captain Ryker is the perfect guide to help you reel in some of the lake's finest crappie. Whether you're a seasoned angler or bringing the kids out for their very first fishing adventure, you’re in for a fantastic day.

You'll set off aboard Captain Ryker’s 20’ Phoenix bass
boat, a nimble and well-equipped vessel that’s ideal for navigating the lake’s prime crappie spots. This boat is fully outfitted with everything you need for a successful day of fishing, including rods, reels, and tackle, along with a range of lures specifically chosen to tempt those tasty crappie. With room for up to two passengers, it’s a great setup for a parent-child outing, a close friend, or anyone looking to learn the ins and outs of crappie fishing from a seasoned pro.

Captain Ryker knows exactly where to find crappie schools and is skilled at teaching anglers of all ages and skill levels. He’s especially great with kids, so feel free to bring the whole family along! If you need a child-sized life vest, just let him know ahead of time, and he’ll have you covered. And don’t forget to pack some snacks and drinks to keep everyone energized—crappie fishing can get exciting, and you don’t want to be caught with an empty stomach when the bite is on.

Before you head out, make sure to purchase a local fishing license for each member of your group. Captain Ryker can point you in the right direction if you’re unsure where to get it, but this quick step will ensure you’re ready to hit the water without a hitch.

If you’d like to bring a few cold beers to enjoy on the boat, that’s no problem—just avoid glass bottles and hard liquor to keep things safe and family-friendly. This trip is all about relaxation, great fishing, and good company, so feel free to settle in and enjoy the peaceful lake setting while Captain Ryker puts you on the fish.

With Captain Ryker’s expert guidance and a well-equipped boat, you’re set for a fantastic day of crappie fishing. Whether you're out to fill the cooler with these tasty panfish or just looking to spend a memorable day on the water with family, Captain Ryker is ready to make it happen.
