About Your Trip

Embark on an unforgettable fly fishing adventure with Chachi and his expert team on the breathtaking Toccoa River! Whether you’re a first-time angler eager to learn the art of fly fishing or a seasoned pro chasing trophy Trout, these trips are tailored to suit every skill level. With a focus on fun, education, and unforgettable moments, Chachi’s crew ensures every angler walks away with a smile—and maybe even their personal best catch!

What to Expect:

Drift along the tailwater section of the Toccoa River in the comfort of a well-equipped drift boat, designed for fishing year-round. These trips are perfect for everyone, from kids and older anglers to bachelor/bachelorette parties or corporate groups. The drift boats provide added stability and comfort, especially during colder months when bundling up and staying cozy makes all the difference. Float trips allow you to cover more water with ease, maximizing your chances of landing Rainbow and Brown Trout while enjoying the serenity of the river.

For those seeking a more hands-on experience, the team also offers wading opportunities to target fish in their natural habitats up close. Fly fishing is both an art and a science, and Chachi’s guides are as passionate about teaching the craft as they are about catching fish. They’ll walk you through everything you need to know, from casting techniques to reading the water and choosing the perfect fly.

What's Included:
Chachi and his team have taken care of everything you need to succeed on the water. Your trip includes high-quality fly rods, a selection of effective flies, waders, boots, and all other fishing essentials. For half-day trips, enjoy snacks and drinks to keep you fueled. Full-day trips elevate the experience with a delicious riverside lunch, giving you time to relax and soak in the beauty of the river between casts.

Group-Friendly Adventures:
Got a big crew? No problem! Chachi’s team can accommodate larger groups with ease, ensuring every angler gets the attention they deserve. To provide the best possible experience, there’s a 2:1 guide-to-angler ratio, so you’ll always have expert advice and guidance nearby. Whether it’s a family outing, a team-building event, or just a day on the water with friends, these trips are the perfect way to create lasting memories.

What You’ll Need:
Come prepared with a Georgia fishing license (required for anglers aged 16-64) and your personal essentials. While all the fishing gear is provided, feel free to bring your own favorite fly fishing setup if you’d like. Be sure to pack a hat, sunglasses, and a lightweight rain jacket, along with season-appropriate clothing to keep you comfortable no matter the weather.

Flexibility & Convenience:
Start times and meeting points vary depending on the trip, and your guide will reach out ahead of time with all the details. They’ll make sure everything is perfectly tailored to your schedule, giving you a hassle-free experience from start to finish.

Cancellation Policy
Your deposit is fully refundable with a 30 day notice, less than 30 days and the deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations within seven days of the scheduled trip will be billed in full unless you can find an alternate or we can re-book your current scheduled date. We do not cancel or reschedule trips due to the possibility of showers. Showers are common where we operate. Please bring a light rain jacket and be prepared.

With Chachi and his team leading the way, this is more than just a fishing trip—it’s a journey into the heart of Georgia’s natural beauty, filled with learning, laughter, and the thrill of reeling in fish from the Toccoa’s pristine waters. Book your trip today and get ready for an unforgettable day on the river!

About Your Guide

Chachi A.

From Head Guide & Owner, Chachi:

“Our guides have an intimate knowledge of the local waters, and their dedication to client satisfaction is unwavering. Our main guide team is Chachi, Adam, Casey, Ashton, and Nathan, but we also have a few part-time studs that fill in the gaps when we are busy and need extra help."

Chachi grew up in south Georgia but has been in Tennessee for the last two decades. Anyone who knows Chachi, knows that he is
constantly passing along his knowledge on fly-fishing, hunting and conservation. Despite his baby-face and beardless appearance, he has over 3500 days guiding under his belt. He has been guiding backpacking, fly-fishing, and hunting trips in the Southeast and out West since 2003. He and his family currently reside outside Cleveland, Tennessee.

Adam is a North Carolina native, currently living in Tennessee. He has been guiding outdoor adventures off and on since 2003. He has 3 young adventurous boys and an amazing daughter so he understands the patience needed to educate beginners and seasoned anglers alike. Adam is a fantastic guide that has a knack for staying positive no matter the weather or fish count, as long as the boat is right-side up.

Casey grew up in Tennessee and Central America and currently resides in Ooltewah, TN with his wife and kids. He has spent his whole life in the outdoors between fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping, but his true passion is fly fishing. Casey has fly fished throughout the country for many different species, but he loves chasing trout throughout the southeast more than anything. One of his true joys in life is passing along his knowledge and experience to help others fall in love with the sport of fly fishing.

Captain Nathan grew up in a fishing family, and was born to guide. He started guiding whitewater at 18 and has spent his life chasing big fish and adventure. Nathan currently lives in Cleveland, TN with his family, raising the next generation of guides. Throughout all the adventures, fishing has been the mainstay.

Ashton grew up in North Carolina, and currently resides in Tennessee. He grew up in a small mountain town and spent most of his upbringing in the outdoors hiking and fishing. Ashton is passionate about fly fishing and loves seeing clients experience the same joy and passion.
