About Your Trip

iscover the magic of wade fishing with Chachi and his team as they guide you into the heart of Georgia’s pristine trout waters! These Walk & Wade Fishing Trips offer a hands-on, immersive experience, perfect for anglers of all skill levels. Whether you’re learning the ropes or perfecting your cast, wading is the ultimate way to connect with the river and the art of fly fishing.

What Makes Walk & Wade Trips Special:
There’s something
uniquely peaceful about wading into the cool, clear water and working a stretch of river at your own pace. Unlike float fishing, which allows you to cover more ground, wade fishing lets you focus deeply on specific spots, helping you learn to read the water and hone your technique. Whether you’re targeting rising trout on a dry fly, dialing in your euro-nymphing skills, or simply savoring the solitude, wading trips offer a serene escape and a chance to truly slow down and soak in your surroundings.

The rhythmic flow of the river, the whisper of your cast, and the thrill of a trout taking your fly combine to create a meditative, rewarding experience. If you’re looking for a quiet slice of heaven, these trips are a perfect way to escape the noise of everyday life.

Expert Guides and Top-Notch Gear:
Chachi’s experienced team is here to guide you every step of the way. They’ll teach you everything from casting techniques to fly selection, ensuring you feel confident and capable on the water. All necessary gear is included—fly rods, flies, waders, boots, and anything else you’ll need to succeed. Whether you’re a beginner eager to learn or a seasoned angler refining your skills, Chachi’s guides will tailor the experience to your needs.

Snacks, Lunch, and Plenty of Fun:
Half-day trips include snacks and drinks to keep you energized as you cast away. For full-day adventures, you’ll enjoy a delicious riverside lunch, giving you time to relax and soak in the beauty of the day. With a 2:1 guide-to-angler ratio, every participant gets personalized attention and tips to make the most of the trip.

What to Bring:
To make your day on the water as enjoyable as possible, be sure to bring:

A Georgia fishing license (required for anglers ages 16-64)
Any personal fly fishing gear you’d like to use
A hat, polarized sunglasses, and lightweight rain jacket
Weather-appropriate clothing to keep you comfortable in changing conditions
While Chachi’s team provides all the essentials, a positive attitude and a readiness to embrace the beauty of nature will make this an unforgettable experience!

Flexible Start Times and Cancellation Policy:
Start times and meeting points are flexible and will be arranged directly with your guide prior to the trip. Please note the cancellation policy:

Deposits are fully refundable with 30 days’ notice.
- Cancellations made within 30 days are non-refundable.
- Trips canceled within seven days of your scheduled date will be billed in full unless you can find a replacement or the team is able to rebook your slot.
- Trips run rain or shine—light showers are common, so bring a rain jacket and prepare for adventure!

Wade fishing is about more than catching fish—it’s about immersing yourself in the moment, connecting with nature, and finding your own rhythm in the water. Whether you’re sharing the experience with a friend or enjoying a solo getaway, these trips are sure to leave you refreshed, inspired, and dreaming about your next cast. Book your trip today and see why Walk & Wade Fishing is a favorite among fly anglers!

About Your Guide

Chachi A.

From Head Guide & Owner, Chachi:

“Our guides have an intimate knowledge of the local waters, and their dedication to client satisfaction is unwavering. Our main guide team is Chachi, Adam, Casey, Ashton, and Nathan, but we also have a few part-time studs that fill in the gaps when we are busy and need extra help."

Chachi grew up in south Georgia but has been in Tennessee for the last two decades. Anyone who knows Chachi, knows that he is
constantly passing along his knowledge on fly-fishing, hunting and conservation. Despite his baby-face and beardless appearance, he has over 3500 days guiding under his belt. He has been guiding backpacking, fly-fishing, and hunting trips in the Southeast and out West since 2003. He and his family currently reside outside Cleveland, Tennessee.

Adam is a North Carolina native, currently living in Tennessee. He has been guiding outdoor adventures off and on since 2003. He has 3 young adventurous boys and an amazing daughter so he understands the patience needed to educate beginners and seasoned anglers alike. Adam is a fantastic guide that has a knack for staying positive no matter the weather or fish count, as long as the boat is right-side up.

Casey grew up in Tennessee and Central America and currently resides in Ooltewah, TN with his wife and kids. He has spent his whole life in the outdoors between fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping, but his true passion is fly fishing. Casey has fly fished throughout the country for many different species, but he loves chasing trout throughout the southeast more than anything. One of his true joys in life is passing along his knowledge and experience to help others fall in love with the sport of fly fishing.

Captain Nathan grew up in a fishing family, and was born to guide. He started guiding whitewater at 18 and has spent his life chasing big fish and adventure. Nathan currently lives in Cleveland, TN with his family, raising the next generation of guides. Throughout all the adventures, fishing has been the mainstay.

Ashton grew up in North Carolina, and currently resides in Tennessee. He grew up in a small mountain town and spent most of his upbringing in the outdoors hiking and fishing. Ashton is passionate about fly fishing and loves seeing clients experience the same joy and passion.
