Spend the day with expert local captains and get hooked on fishing in Loreto! Our captains are seasoned professionals, former commercial fishermen who have been navigating these waters since they were kids. With their expertise, you'll fish like a pro and reel in an adventure to remember.

The waters around Loreto are home to Mahi Mahi, Yellowtail Amberjack, Snapper, Seabass, Roosterfish, Great Barracuda, Grouper, and more. Using techniques like spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, and bottom fishing, you'll target your catch with precision. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep, and your captain will clean it for you – the perfect start to a delicious meal!

You’ll step aboard a 22’ center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It’s equipped with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials for a productive and comfortable day on the water. Rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided, while live bait is available for an additional cost.

Families are welcome to join the adventure, as kids are encouraged to come along. Before the trip, make sure to secure a local fishing license, which can often be arranged online or with help from your captain. Some species may be protected or require special tags to keep, so it's a good idea to check the regulations ahead of time.

To ensure you’re prepared for a great day, bring sunglasses, non-spray sunblock, and bottled water. Complimentary drinks are included, along with lunch and light snacks. Moderate alcohol consumption is allowed, but hard liquor and glass bottles should be avoided.

The day begins at 7 a.m. with departure from Loreto’s Downtown Marina. After picking up live bait, you'll head out to see what surprises the sea has in store. Whether you're landing your dream catch or simply soaking in the stunning surroundings, the memories made on the water will last a lifetime.

We strongly recommend that guests bring sunglasses, sunscreen and hat!

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Francisco will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
