If you're looking to hook into some serious catfish action, this seasonal Blue Cat trip with Captain Bob is exactly what you need. Running from December through May—and potentially longer, depending on water conditions—this 4-hour trip is timed to take advantage of prime cold-water catfishing, when the big boys are feeding aggressively.

You’ll launch from one of Oklahoma’s premier Blue Cat fisheries, like Lake Hudson or Fort Gibson Lake, aboard Captain Bob’s 23’ Epic center console powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine. With a wide, stable deck and room for up to 5 anglers, this boat is perfectly suited for working a variety of water types—from river channels and flats to deep lake pockets where trophy cats roam.

Captain Bob draws on years of experience and uses multiple tried-and-true techniques to stay on the fish. Depending on water temperature, clarity, and flow, he may set up for bottom fishing, drift lines, or cut bait rigs with heavy tackle to tempt the monsters lurking below. Water temps around 40°F and above make for ideal conditions, especially in winter when the biggest Blue Cats are actively feeding.

All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are included, and Captain Bob will clean and fillet your catch after the trip. You’re welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks, and with a Bluetooth speaker on board, you can even enjoy your favorite playlist while you wait for the next rod to bend.

This trip is beginner-friendly, kid-friendly, and disability accessible, making it a great choice for families, first-timers, and serious anglers alike. We are family friendly, we love God, we love kids, and we do are best to make our clients memories to last a lifetime. We supply all gear and drinks, we fillet and bag fish and chunk and bag spoonbill. We do catfish, white bass, and spoonbill trips , all when species are in season. We go to multiple lakes and use multiple techniques, we love to hunt , we love Dogs, and we love people.

It's been a life long dream to guide , I never could afford the boat it took to guide in , I was a commercial concrete superintendent, this job didn't make me happy , I decided to start the business small and when I retired I'd have clients , it actually got in the way of my concrete job and made them angry , I walked away after a few years and guide full time

There is alot of top quality guides out there , They all try hard and are very talented, I'd say my center console boat is something that is different, a smooth ride NAMED THE BLESSING , GODS BOAT , WE JUST RUN IT

We provide all gear and bait , also will fillet and bag fish , 15 per person
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
