A Fly Fishers International (FFI) Certified Casting Instructor, experienced guide, and respected educator, Captain George specializes in guiding intermediate to advanced fly anglers through some of the most productive and visually stunning fisheries on the East Coast.

This isn’t a trip for beginners—intermediate to advanced fly casting skills are a must. Whether you're sight casting to cruising stripers on the Brewster Flats or swinging flies through standing waves in the Monomoy rips, you'll need solid casting fundamentals and a willingness to adapt to dynamic conditions. George speaks personally with every client before the trip to assess experience, understand expectations, and tailor the outing accordingly. That way, every session is designed to challenge you, grow your skills, and maximize your time on the water.

Trips focus on two of Cape Cod’s premier fly fisheries:

Brewster Flats - Spanning over 12,000 acres, the Brewster Flats are the largest flats system in North America. This expansive, shallow-water fishery is a playground for fly anglers and an ideal setting for stalking striped bass in skinny water. Success here demands quiet approaches, accurate casts, and a sharp eye for movement.

Monomoy Flats - Open to the Atlantic and shaped by ever-shifting tides, the Monomoy Island flats offer technical sight fishing for striped bass in a truly wild setting. With changing landscapes and finicky fish, these flats reward precision and patience.

You'll be fishing from a 22’ Hydrasports Ocean Skiff designed for shallow water access and optimal fly fishing performance. All rods, lines, leaders, and flies are provided—though you’re welcome to bring your own gear. (Note: waders are not included.)

Captain George is fully licensed and insured. Be sure to bring polarized sunglasses, proper sun protection, and most importantly—be on time. Trips are tightly scheduled, and late arrivals may result in cancellation.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. George will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
