About Your Trip

This is a true hardcore, all-day-and-into-the-night offshore grind designed for anglers who want every possible shot at pelagic giants and whatever else the season decides to deliver. With a full 24 hours on the water, you’ll be pushing far beyond the standard trip window and into the kind of extended offshore environment where the ocean shifts constantly, and every hour can bring a completely different style of fishing.

Once you clear the coastline, the water
quickly deepens into rich bluewater structure where tuna patrol hard and fast. Depending on conditions and current breaks, you may find Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna blasting bait balls on the surface at first light or deep under flocks of diving birds. These fish are known for their speed, power, and unpredictable movements, and you’ll be rigged and ready with heavy tackle, high-speed reels, and fluorocarbon leaders built to withstand brutal runs and sudden direction changes.

As the day progresses, the fishing expands into a full-spectrum offshore experience. You’ll likely mix in trolling spreads with skirted lures and diving plugs to cover water and search for Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi, and other pelagics that thrive along weed lines, temperature breaks, and floating structure. When conditions line up, you may even switch to live bait presentations, drifting baits back into the strike zone for bite-after-bite action from aggressive feeders.

The extended overnight element is where this trip really separates itself. As the sun drops below the horizon, the ocean doesn’t go quiet—it transforms. Twilight brings explosive surface activity at times, followed by the calm, surreal stillness of open water under a sky filled with stars. Between fishing runs, you’ll experience full-spectrum offshore life: glowing sunsets fading into pitch-black seas, bioluminescence in the wake, and the quiet rhythm of drifting between bites.

Through the night, deep-dropping or slow trolling may come into play depending on conditions, offering opportunities for different seasonal species that move vertically after dark. Whether it’s tuna continuing to feed under the cover of night or unexpected visitors hitting bait in the dark, the action never fully stops—you just adapt to what the ocean gives you.

By morning, you’re back in a new world again. The sunrise hits the water with a completely different energy, often marking another window of aggressive feeding as pelagics reset and bait rises. It’s a final push before the long run home, often with tired arms, a cooler full of hard-earned fish, and the kind of stories that only come from 24 uninterrupted hours offshore.

This isn’t a casual day trip. It’s a test of stamina, focus, and pure fishing instinct—built for anglers who want the full spectrum of offshore fishing, from sun-up to stars-out and back again.

At a young age I started fishing the bayous and marshes in south Louisiana. Learning and studying the area and fish. In 2015 I moved into the offshore side of Louisiana and a whole new passion was born. Red snapper, cobra, mangrove snapper and tuna provide a larger thrill. I am known as one of the most laid back captains in the area and strive to make your offshore experience the most memorable time ever.
