About Your Trip

If you’re ready to chase big fish in serious water, this 10–12 hour offshore Tuna and Shark trip with Captain Mike is the real deal. Running from July through October, this deep-sea adventure puts you on the trail of Bluefin Tuna, Mako and Thresher Sharks, and other offshore bruisers in the rich waters off the Boston coast.

Launching from Constitution Marina, just steps from downtown Boston, you’ll head offshore aboard a 31’ Cabo Express—a fully
loaded sportfisher designed for both power and comfort. With twin 350 HP Caterpillar diesel engines and a deep-V hull, she’s built to cut through rough seas and get you to the bite fast. Onboard amenities like A/C, a full head (bathroom), fridge, microwave, cushioned seating, and a climate-controlled cabin mean you’ll be riding in style, even when the fishing gets gritty.

Captain Mike brings over 30 years of experience to every trip, and there’s no one better to lead the charge. He and his twin sons run a tight operation, blending top-tier safety standards with a fisherman’s intuition honed over decades in the Northeast offshore scene. From trolling and chunking to drifting and jigging, Captain Mike uses every technique in the book to put you on fish—and all the gear you’ll use is custom-rigged and battle-tested for offshore giants.

Bluefin Tuna take center stage on this trip, with school-size fish often showing up in the early season and larger models—including Giant Bluefin—becoming more common as fall rolls in. Shark action can also be red-hot during this window, offering the chance to lock into powerful runs and airborne strikes from Mako and Thresher Sharks. Just be ready—hooking into one of these apex predators is no casual fight.

While offshore conditions can be unpredictable later in the season, Captain Mike will always help you pick the right day to maximize your chances and make the most of your time on the water. Groundfishing isn’t the focus during these months, so the trip is dialed in specifically for pelagic hunters looking to test their strength and skill.

This trip is perfect for serious anglers, thrill seekers, and anyone looking to experience the raw power of the open Atlantic. With high-performance tackle, cutting-edge electronics, and a captain who lives and breathes offshore fishing, this is your shot at a bucket-list fish just miles from Boston’s skyline.

Book your trip today and step into the ring with the hardest-fighting fish in the Northeast. Giant Tuna, aggressive Sharks, and one unforgettable day on the water await.
