About Your Trip

Step aboard with Captain Mike for a comfortable and action-filled 6-hour inshore fishing trip designed for families, friends, and anglers of all experience levels. Running two departures daily at 5:00 AM and noon, this trip is built to match the rhythm of the season and put you on some of the most sought-after inshore and nearshore species in the area.

Depending on the time of year, the bite shifts to match seasonal patterns. In May,
flounder are a prime target, often found along sandy bottoms and structure where they lie in wait for passing bait. As summer arrives, the focus moves to striped bass and bluefish from June through October, delivering hard runs, aggressive strikes, and steady action in productive coastal waters. These fish are known for their fight and energy, making every hookup exciting whether you are new to fishing or experienced on the water.

For anglers looking to go bigger, tuna and shark trips are available upon request with allocation of a full day, offering the chance to step into more advanced offshore fishing when conditions and scheduling allow. These trips provide a different level of challenge and opportunity for those looking to target larger pelagic species.

You’ll be fishing aboard a luxury Cabo sportfishing boat designed for comfort and performance. The vessel provides a smooth, stable ride and plenty of space for families or groups of friends who want to enjoy a day on the water without sacrificing comfort. It is well suited for both relaxed cruising and active fishing, making it easy for everyone on board to stay engaged.

A professional mate is on board for every trip to assist with fishing, handle gear, and ensure a smooth experience from start to finish. Whether it is baiting hooks, setting lines, or helping land fish, support is always available so you can focus on enjoying your time on the water.

A cooler filled with ice is provided so guests can bring along their own food and drinks for the day. From seasonal inshore action to comfortable fishing aboard a premium vessel, Captain Mike delivers a well-rounded coastal experience built around fun, flexibility, and steady fishing opportunities.
