About Your Trip

Get ready to escape the ordinary and chase big bites in hidden waters with Captain Matt on this exclusive backcountry fishing adventure in Bradenton, Florida! This 4 to 6-hour trip isn’t your typical day on the water—it's a deep dive into the wild side of Florida fishing, where the crowds fade away and the fish come alive.

Captain Matt specializes in navigating the tucked-away creeks, mangrove tunnels, and shallow estuaries that most anglers can only
dream of reaching. On board his top-tier Hell's Bay Skiff you’ll slip into the most secluded corners of the backcountry, where Snook ambush bait in the shadows, Redfish tail through the flats, and Tarpon explode in aerial acrobatics.

This trip is all about precision and skill, with a focus on artificial lures to bring out the most aggressive bites from your targets. Whether you're skipping soft plastics under mangroves or working a topwater plug across glassy water, Captain Matt will coach you through the perfect cast and retrieve to get that heart-pounding hookup.

Along the way, you might also tangle with hard-fighting Crevalle Jack—known for their brute strength and line-screaming runs. With a max of two guests on board, you’ll enjoy a one-on-one experience with Captain Matt, getting personalized instruction and expert insight every step of the way.

Captain Matt provides all the tackle, gear, and local know-how—you just need to bring your favorite snacks, drinks, and a readiness to get off the beaten path and into some of the most exciting inshore fishing Bradenton has to offer.

If you’re looking for a fishing trip that’s as technical as it is thrilling, this backcountry charter is the real deal. Book now and discover what’s waiting beyond the beaten path!
