About Your Trip

Step away from the hustle and into the heart of Southwest Florida’s inshore fishing paradise with Captain Tim! Based out of Marco Island and Naples, Tim’s all-inclusive light tackle and fly fishing trips are built for those who want more than just a fishing trip—they’re for anglers looking to reconnect with nature and chase some of the most exciting game fish Florida has to offer.

From the winding mangrove tunnels of the Ten Thousand Islands
to the sunlit grass flats around Marco Island and Naples, you’ll explore a world-class fishery known for its calm waters and incredible biodiversity. Whether you’re sight casting to redfish cruising the shoreline, throwing topwaters at feeding snook, or battling tarpon in the backcountry, this is the kind of trip that stays with you long after the lines are reeled in.

Captain Tim specializes in light tackle spinning and fly fishing—perfect for anglers looking for a technical challenge or anyone who appreciates a stealthy approach to skinny water fishing. Depending on the season and conditions, you’ll target Southwest Florida’s inshore slam: snook, redfish, trout, and tarpon, with opportunities to hook into other species like mangrove snapper, jack crevalle, and even juvenile grouper along the oyster bars and tidal creeks.

You’ll fish aboard a fully outfitted and comfortable inshore skiff, perfectly suited for navigating shallow flats, tight creeks, and hidden coves. The boat is stocked with top-tier gear including custom light tackle setups and premium Orvis Helios fly rods with Battenkill reels, plus live bait and artificial lures tailored to the day’s bite. Whether you're a beginner learning the ropes or a seasoned fly caster, Captain Tim has the expertise and patience to tailor the experience to your skill level.

This trip is truly all-inclusive—licenses, tackle, bait, water, and ice are provided, so all you need to bring is sunscreen (non-aerosol only!), snacks, polarized sunglasses, and a sense of adventure. Tim also brings a camera to make sure you go home with great photos of your catch—and the scenery.

Calm waters, stunning scenery, and nonstop action—it’s all waiting for you on the backwaters of Marco Island and Naples. Book your trip with Captain Tim and experience why inshore fishing here is more than a sport—it’s a way of life.
