These trips are focused on targeting Largemouth Bass using light tackle techniques that are approachable for beginners and engaging for experienced anglers alike. Mississippi’s waters are known for producing quality bass, and Captain Garrett’s local knowledge will have you fishing productive areas from the start.

The 4-hour trip begins at 7:00 AM and is perfect for a laid-back, productive morning—great for families or anyone looking to get out on the water without committing the full day. The 6-hour option starts at 7:30 AM and gives you more time to explore additional spots and refine your approach, increasing your chances at landing bigger fish.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 20’ Nitro bass boat powered by a 250HP Mercury engine, equipped with advanced live scope and active target technology to help locate fish in real time. Trips typically take place on Ross Barnett Reservoir, as well as select stretches of the Pearl River and nearby creeks depending on conditions.

All rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided—just bring comfortable clothing, sunscreen, and any snacks or drinks you’d like. Whether you’re new to bass fishing or looking to sharpen your skills, Captain Garrett is focused on delivering a fun, smooth, and productive day on the water.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
