The day will start early at the boat landing, where you'll get acquainted, then briefly go over some safety instruction and boat familiarization before getting on the water. After loading up and departing from the dock, you'll make your way out through the Charleston Harbor, where you'll see many historic landmarks including the Charleston Battery, Ft. Moultrie, and Ft. Sumter, to name just a few! Pushing out from the harbor, you'll head 10-20 miles into the Atlantic. Feel free to connect via Bluetooth to the onboard JL Audio sound system, queue up your favorite playlist, and settle in for an hour ride out to the fishing grounds. For nearshore trips, we will do some bottom fishing/reef fishing, targeting the likes of Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, Amberjack, King Mackerel, Barracuda, and more! You are welcome to get as involved as you would like, whether you'd rather lounge until the reel starts screaming, or keep your hand on the rod the whole time. Captain Brent can make it happen! Pushing out from the harbor, you will travel on a 20-60 mile voyage into the Atlantic Ocean where you will have the opportunity to take in the breathtaking beauty of the sun rising above the horizon. You can expect to hook into the likes of Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Sailfish, and Marlin on this offshore adventure. The 27' Pathfinder is powered by a 425hp Yamaha engine that will power you out offshore. You’ll head 25-50 miles offshore to deep drop bottom rigs and or jig offshore structures to target mutton snapper, gag and scamp grouper, red snapper(seasonal), King Mackerel, barracuda, african pompano, cobia, amberjack, shark, triggerfish, and many more! All charters are aboard Captain Matt's 30' Contender center console powered by twin 250 hp Suzuki engines. This trip can handle up to 5 people, but just so you know, this trip can be heavily dependent on wind and sea conditions Captain Matt will get you all set up with top-of-the-line fishing gear with spinning and conventional gear available.
