Remnants of the caddisfly hatch linger and light Cahill mayflies are emerging so larvae, pupae and adult fly patterns that imitate these life stages are producing. Streamers can be good during lowlight windows early morning or late evening and during overcast weather conditions.

Get ready for the adult caddis to lay eggs and spend their life cycle with spent adults, making for some dry fly action this April. Shoal and white bass are running with stripers following on spring runs.

Been banging reds. That's about all I have until the water warms and the migratory fish show up. Cobia should be around and the triple tail around Jekyll island should be going good now with the water getting in the upper 60's.

The caddis hatch is on! For the next month through April the caddisfly life cycle will take place throughout the River making for some great dry fly action. There is nothing better than watching a trout rise to your surface fly!
