Fishing reports straight from our guides in Dauphin Island
5 Hour trips in early spring are a bit different. The trolling bite is slow if there is one at all. Typically we just run out and bottom fish the whole time. Today we kept a bunch of vermilion snapper and had 1 trigger fish. We released a ton of red snapper and small trigger fish. Surprisingly with the moon at almost a full moon phase, and a clear night, the bite was pretty good with action the whole time.

Redfish are chewing and big female trout are starting to move around. Next month trout will be in spawning. Water is warming up finally
