This fishing was good in the Indian and Banana River lagoons around Melbourne, FL for the first half of spring break. We caught just about everything except Tarpon and Snook, which were seeing the effects of spring break and Easter traffic. We had good Redfishing, Black Drum, Seatrout, Mangrove Snappers, and even some smaller Snook though. A week of rain and slowed fishing pressure should light the fishing up in Late April and early May!

Good day everyone! The weather has been fluctuating lately. The Wind and Rain changing daily makes it difficult to know the best time to go out. But, the fishing has been consistent when we do get out the trout bite is really good. Most of them are just undersized, for every 10 undersized you'll catch one keeper. Everyone is waiting on the bait to change to catch the big ones! There are some Reds around but they are few and far between. The Jacks are starting to show up put up a good fight. Don't forget as of April 1st...

Fishing has been really good in the river and the ocean. Had some sailfish action several weeks back along with a bunch of snappers, cobia, black drum, and snook. There was a huge School of black drum that were just outside Port Canaveral for several days. I'm out of town until next week.

The Juvenile Tarpon bite has been good! Jack Crevalle have been available and are fun to fight as well. Black Drum and Mangrove Snappers have provided some table fare for anglers looking to put a few in the fish box. Snook aren't really ready to consistently bite yet, but we've caught a few. Redfishing has slowed due to the quick warm up, but there are still some showing up each trip.

Fishing has been steady on the space coast! We're seeing catches of good whiting, bluefish and pompano. Some bigger black drum have showed up and they always make for a great fight. Sharks are present and fun for the whole family! Happy fishing

Redfishing has been great, Sheepshead a close second. There's been some scattered Black Drum and Trout action as well. On the warmer days we've started to see some juvenile Snook and Tarpon even!

Thanks for reaching out. I have been fishing mostly inshore recently. We have been catching a lot of trout, redfish, & blackdrum. Last week I fished in the Mosquito Lagoon and we got into a school of 1000+ large black drum. Hopefully the fishing continues to be good with this warmer weather. Thanks again for reaching out!
It was the largest school I've ever seen. They were everywhere you looked around the boat for over an hour.

The fishing has been good to excellent on the Indian and Banana River Lagoons near Melbourne, FL. What I mean by that is, we have had very cold weather, especially in the mornings and on the back side of cold fronts. The cold weather slows the bite way down. On warmer, sunnier days, and especially in the afternoon, fishing can be excellent. It looks like our little section of the lagoons from Cocoa Beach to Grant has been mostly (but not all, some tarpon and snook died in shallow sections) spared from the fish kill 🙏. Sheepshead fishing has been...

Such an amazing time with Daniel! The whole process from the time we arrived to the boat until we left was as smooth as can be. On board he was fun, provided us tons of insight and helped us catch some awesome fish! Would highly recommend this charter to anyone!!

Cody was great. He was fully prepared and ready to go as soon as we pulled in. He had a great spot and we caught a bunch of fish. My son’s 13th bday present and he caught 3 snook. His first time salt water fishing and Cody made it great for him. He was quick, knowledgeable and a great guy. Will for sure book again.

Our fishing trip out of Port Canaveral with Captain David was absolutely fantastic! Me, my daughter, and fiancé had an amazing time. He had us catching fish from the very first stop. This was my 12 year old daughter’s first boat experience. She loved it. Even with a little wavy action rocking her to sleep a little, she loved it and had a wonderful time. Beyond catching fish, we were treated to some amazing wildlife sightings as well including a manatee, birds, multiple barracuda (I caught one of them), and even a massive 10-foot hammerhead shark that swam right under the boat. Captain David was knowledgeable, friendly, and knew exactly where to put us on the fish. I highly recommend booking a trip with him. We’ll definitely be back!

Tuesday, June 16th. We launched at 6am just as the sun was coming up. Valerie recommended we use shiners which were ideal. The bass can't resist. We boated 42 bass in an "extended" 4 hour trip. Valerie said that we fish until all the shiners are gone. She's the best.

Richard was great! He was on top of the fish, baiting our poles and getting us unstuck Everytime we got caught on the rocks. He filleted our fish for us and even let my wife listen to her crappy music. Five stars!
