Spring time fishing has been nothing short of incredible lately! We’ve had consistent action across the board, with many trips producing a great variety of species including sailfish, mahi mahi, blackfin tuna, and kingfish. Some days it feels like you never know what’s going to show up next, which is what makes this time of year so exciting offshore.
The conditions have lined up perfectly and the fish have been cooperating, giving our clients steady bites and unforgettable experiences on the water. ]Weekly Fishing Report (Biscayne Bay & Offshore)

This past week set up exactly how you want it in Miami—light winds early, a little push mid-week, and clean water holding life both inshore and offshore. When the ocean gives you that mix, you don’t force anything… you fish where it’s right, and this week it was right in a lot of places.

Inshore – Biscayne Bay Action Inside the bay stayed consistent and productive, especially on the right tides.

Mangrove snapper have been stacked up on structure—channel edges, bridges, and rock piles. Live shrimp and small pilchards got it done quick, especially on the outgoing tide when that water started moving. Yellow jacks mixed in heavy around the markers and wreck edges, aggressive and perfect for light tackle fun.

Sea trout showed up on the grass flats with that cleaner water pushing in. Early mornings were best—soft plastics and live bait both producing. Sharks have been cruising steady, especially around the deeper cuts and channels—good action for anyone looking to bend rods and hear that drag sing.

Overall inshore bite: steady, reliable, and perfect for putting numbers on the board.

Offshore – Bluewater Bite Offshore is where things started getting electric.

Sailfish showed up and made their presence known—especially on days with a little breeze and current. Live bait slow-trolled had shots, and when they lit up, it happened fast.

Mahi have been scattered but there—working debris, weed lines, and floating structure. Not huge schools every day, but enough to stay on them if you’re coveri
