With the fall season upon us, the heat has broken and the weather is nice. We are getting a steady catch of Speckled Seatrout of nice size. We are also catching the juvenile Tarpon around the same areas. The Snook are biting pretty good you just have to get them to the boat before the sharks can get them. Overall, the keys are pretty quiet as far as tourist go, so we have lots of fishing grounds that are virtually private to us this time of year.

Calm seas have left us with great opportunities on the reef , wrecks and off shore . The yellowtail Vite had been pretty good with several flags caught along with some other species like trigger fish , cero mackerel and our favorite yellow Jack .
Off shore mahi has been hit or miss but when we hit we managed multiple keeper fish and occasional heavy lifter and gaffers . Tunas have been active at the humps in addition to some great amber Jack bites . Overall it has been a great summer so far and it's only getting better .

Ken Morris and son Henry, came down for a morning of fishing in the back country near Flamingo in Everglades National Park. Managed several snook and redfish. Was a great morning for sure!

Capt GW had the day off so what does he do? Takes the family out for a quick snook trip. Landed 4 of 6 snook in about 45 minutes of fishing before the girls all decided it was time for ice cream at Flamingo! Weather is hot but the fishing

Captain Andrew. Aka drew. What can i say. From the very start he communicated with us he wanted to make sure we had time to cast net some great bait and he did. Hardest working guide ive ever seen. And im 60 so seen quite a few. Andrew put us on fish all day long. Incredibly knowledgea le about the entire area and fishing area. My wrist and right arm are a bit sore from catching so many fish. The big target today for me was Snook. He put us on them. I lost 2 in slot snook in the mangrove roots probably 28 to 30. But caught at leat 5 in the 24to 27 inch range and another 8 in the 14 to 22 or so. Always busy always catchin and fi ding them. We also caught some big jack cravele big ones. Make your arm hurt. Lol. Plenty of mangrove snapper a couple barracuda and a bull shark. All day. Fun day. Now im tired. Took my wife to just hang out. She loved it. Great fishing trip with this man. Mike and Tami.
