This colder weather has pushed the snook and jacks into the rivers and creeks. Redfish continue to be found near deeper channel edges/docks. Some black drum have started to show up while fishing with live shrimp around structure as well as pompano while fishing for trout on deeper grass edges.

Fishing has been on fire lately both nearshore and inshore. Nearshore trips have been producing steady action with hogfish, multiple species of grouper, porgies, gray snapper, and mackerel, while inshore fishing has been just as productive with solid grouper, mackerel, trout, redfish, and snook showing up consistently. Conditions have lined up perfectly, the bite has been strong, and it’s been a great mix of variety and quality fish across the board.

Shallow-water fishing has been absolutely on fire lately, especially for redfish and trout, with artificial baits stealing the show. Clean water and consistent tides have these fish pushed up skinny, actively feeding and aggressively reacting to well-presented lures. Early mornings and late afternoons have been prime, but even mid-day bites have been strong when the sun helps warm the flats.
For redfish, sight-casting in ankle-to-knee-deep water has been lights out. Soft plastics, paddle tails, and weedless jerkbaits worked slowly in front of cruising or tailing fish are getting instant reactions. Trout have been stacked along potholes, edges, and deeper pockets...

Soft plastics, paddle tails, and weedless jerkbaits worked slowly in front of cruising or tailing fish are getting instant reactions. Trout have been stacked along potholes, edges, and deeper pockets within the flats, crushing suspending twitch baits and soft plastics worked with a steady retrieve and occasional pause.
The key has been stealth, accurate casts, and matching the retrieve to the fish’s mood. With bait present and water temps just right, artificial anglers are having some of the best action of the season. If you’re looking for explosive strikes, visual eats, and nonstop action, now is the time to get shallow and throw artificials
The nearshore bite is on Fire! Snapper , sheapshead , Cobia and plenty of big catch and release grouper for fun. Inshore The pompano and trout are eating great.

There has been a good variety of different fish being caught right now. It just depends on the weather and adjusting accordingly to stay on the bite! Snook, redfish, trout, sheepshead, mangrove snapper, Key West grunt, jack crevalle and more!

Alex is a consummate professional; demonstrates the uncommon ability to banter with and keep kids on the fish while being relatable to adults. If you want your crew to experience a great time and remain comfortable, this is your guy.
We had an amazing time with Dan. We caught plenty of fish and he was great with our kids. Highly recommend using Dan if you’re in the area and want to take the family out.
We had a rough day on the water. He is an amazing guide does everything and more to get you on fish and on the hook! I would highly recommend Matt as your next fishing guide! Great guy and very experienced when it comes to fishing the clear water area!
CPT Logan is an awesome young man. We fish 6 or 7 holes. We landed at least 2 fish per stop. We caught Snook, Reds, Black Drum, Sheep's Head and Mangrove Snapper. We landed over 14 fish of 5 different species in less than 3 hrs. What a day. I'll definitely be back to fish w him again.
Amazing trip with Captain Bobby. He took us to 4 or 5 different spots, and plenty of fish at each spot. My grandson’s (7 and 10 years old) were fishing for the first time, and Captain Bobby was very patient and helpful with them. The trip exceeded our expectations!
What an unforgettable experience!! We had so much fun and caught so many fish with Captain George- I’m also pretty sure he might actually be a fish whisperer! He was so personable and accommodating. We have fallen in love with this area and can’t wait to come back next year- and you can bet that we will definitely be booking another fishing trip! Thanks for the memories, Captain George!!
My son and I had an awesome time with Hank, we went to several different places and caught fish at every stop, we plan to book another trip!
Hank was knowledgeable, helpful and patient. Thank again!
