Fish are back chewing in NE Florida after Milton. Bull reds are still running and the floods are on fire. About to get those good fall low tide schools as well.

Flounder fishing has been up and down with some good fish being caught on some days and them being hard to find on others. Artificial, particularly soft plastics, have been producing uup against the grass lines on high tides. Sheepshead ought to start showing soon. Bull red season has arrived with bruisers in the 30 to 40 inch class being caught. Been a weird year for tarpon. Primary bait, pogies, have been spotty so beach fishing has been difficult. Some hsve been caught around the Mayport jetties and even up the St.Johns River in downtown Jacksonville. Offshore has been tough due to the winds. But those lucky enough to have snapper lottery permits have - surprise!- excellent catches. Just had Hurricane Helene pass to our west so hopefully things will settle down quickly and we see what's chewing!

Bottom fishing continues to be good when the weather lets us get out. It looks like the kingfish may be gone now in our waters.

Jetty fishing has been good with the numbers of sheepshead dropping off but the fish are all quality. Redfish are biting good at jetties and creeks. Some good catches of speckled trout but lots of shorts.

Capt.Frank here with our Northeast Florida first weekend in February Fishing Report. Weather continues to be a challenge. Cold front after cold front has brought low temperatures and high winds to the area. Wild changes in barometric pressure has affected fishing. Capt.Frank here with our Northeast Florida first weekend in February Fishing Report. Weather continues to be a challenge. Cold front after cold front has brought low temperatures and high winds to the area. Wild changes in barometric pressure has affected fishing. Nonetheless, on fishable days, there are fish to be caught. Inshore, the speckled seatrout bite has been pretty consistent with good catches of legal trout and some lower slot redfish. Slow trolling with grubs near the bottom is a good way to locate the schools. Once found, traditional float rigs with live shrimp will produce numbers. Sheepshead fishing has been generally good with some really good days and some slower days. But some quality fish are being caught. When weather permits, the black seabass bite has been consistent - if you can get your baits past the red snapper. Further offshore, trigger fish have been good with some 5 pound plus fish being caught. Wahoo fishing has been tough this winter because of the weather. On the fishable days, boats are often encountering cold dirty water. But, there's lots of bait and some nice wahoo in excess of 100 pounds have been caught. Bottom line is - go when you can go and you may be rewarded. Hopefully, calmer weather is around the corner.

David is a very personable captain. He knows the area and adjusted our location to . Eventhough catching fish is never a guarantee, David did his best and delivered. Next time I'm in town I will use his charter.

This was my son’s first time out salt water fishing. He had the best time! Landed some giant red fish. Captain Christopher will definitely be our go to guy in St. Augustine, until he decides to hang it up, which I hope isn’t for a long long time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Experience with Captain Anthony! 100% hands down, we highly recommend Captain Anthony! He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and an all-around great person. As complete beginners on an inshore trip, he helped us catch so many different species of fish, taught us about each one, and made sure we had a fun and successful day on the water. We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to come back again. If you’re looking for a skilled, patient, and genuinely enjoyable captain, book with Captain Anthony—you won’t be disappointed!

Captain Dan took us to scatter our mother's ashes at the beginning of September. He explained how the trip was going to proceed in a clear manner, and, included safety procedures. We felt comfortable and informed as Captain Dan took us to a beautiful spot for our ashes scattering. He allowed us to provide him with music in advance and then played it as we scattered our mother's ashes along the river it was very lovely and touching. Afterwards, he gave us a tour of the area were we watched the dolphins jump and learned a little about the history of the area. Thank you, Captain Dan for your thoughtfulness and making this special time memorable. We would certainly ride with you again.

The best in the business!! We had the best time with Captain Frank. He was so nice and patient with us. The weather wasn’t great but he adjusted the plan and we still caught lots of fish and had a great time. You would have a hard time finding a better guide in the area. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about fishing and I hope we have the chance to go with him again. We learned a lot from him and I would highly recommend him for anglers of any experience level.

Had a great time with Captain Bill! The weather ended up keeping us inshore but he made sure to let us know ahead of time so we could stay flexible. He made sure to find us a few spots where we could get on some fish.
