Fishing has been great over the last couple of weeks. We are still seeing some nice slot redfish in the marsh, and the full-grown ones are still inside for the spawn. On the beach, we are seeing some great action with false albacore and Spanish mackerel.

Did really good during the NC flounder season (Sept 1-14) we’re mostly chasing bull reds the rest of the time in the Neuse river and Pamlico Sound, with some slot reds and speckled trout in the mix. We have had a few encounters with Cobia, good casting action for Spanish mackerel, and false albacore as well.

Fall fishing is underway. The Spanish mackerel are right on the beach and in the inlets tearing up bait. False albacore are just off the beach a few miles in big numbers. We picked up a skipjack tuna mixed in with the albies the other day which was a nice surprise. Inside the redfish and flounder bite is going strong and up the Neuse the old drum are doing their thing.

Blue and Spanish have been off the charts! All sizes, a lot of fun, Spanish will be on the way out as it cools down. Flounder season is over Sunday and it was good like usual.

The redfish bite has been great the last few weeks and for the people wanting some variety we are seeing some really nice black drum. Spanish mackerel and bluefish are also an option if catching a bunch of fish is all you care about.

You might get lucky (as long as things are in-season).

We had the absolute best time ever. We got out there and went straight at it. Whether it was catching blues, Spanish and even sharks. It was amazing.
If you’re looking to have the best experience fishing, this is your guy.
We come every year here, this was our first time doing a charter. Needless to say we will be doing one with captain 🧑✈️ Jeff every single year from here on out.
Very knowledgeable guide who puts you on fish. Very nice guide who is an absolute pleasure to fish with. I definitely will book again with Jeff. You will not be disappointed with Jeff.
Great day on the water, Captain Kevin and First Mate Drew took care of everything and were very knowledgeable. We caught a number of fish including 27” Spanish Mackerel and 40”, 28 lb King Mackerel.
Trey was priceless in helping us out in a pinch! We had scheduled our company trip with another fishing charter, who ended up canceling on us last minute. Trey went above and beyond to help us find another charter in time! Our experience with Captain Shane out of Morehead NC was absolutely outstanding! They took care of us in every way making sure we all had an exciting day catching all kinds of fish and getting it all ready to take home with us. We will definitely use Trey with Captain Experience when booking our next Charter! Thank you Trey for your attention to our unique situation, we wouldn’t have pulled it off without you!

Shane was my captain for a 3 hour saltwater farewell. The overall experience could not have been any better. Shane was easy to be with and very considerate. His boat was comfortable and clean. I was impressed with how important it was to Shane to learn about my family member being honored. By talking about my mom's life and the area, we were able to choose a meaningful place to release the biodegradable urn. I highly recommend Shane for a saltwater farewell and I bet he is a lot of fun to fish with!
Inshore fishing trip with Capt Jack was top notch! Hooked up within the first 5 mins of our lines in the water. Teenage son had a blast. Usually catch and release but decided to keep our limit on the Red Drum. Capt Jack did a nice job filleting them out and sent us on our way with our fresh fish on ice and even some grilling tips which we followed the next evening. Pleasant, professional, and personable. Thanks Jack!
