Our weather is finally beautiful and it's a perfect time to get out Fishing. Yesterday's trip produced some nice yellow tuna, some blackfin, tuna, and some mahi.

Giant bluefin season officially closes at 11:30 pm today; however, that does not slow down the bluefin charters. We are allowed to keep any fish under 73" and there are a bunch of fish under that threshold out there. Yesterday, we released 4 bluefin about 68-70", caught a nice wahoo about 30 lbs, and a few king mackeral. Not a bad day at all. Still time to get in on the bluefin action

blue fishing is still been very good around the sound in Hatteras. Also the red drum bite on cut bait has really picked up with the cooler water. Sheepshead fishing has been very good when you can get out on the wrecks outside the inlet or around the ferry basin on the Ocracoke side of Hatteras inlet using sand fleas and hermit crabs. As the winter progresses we will fishing in the Albemarle sound for stripers and targeting big catfish on the Roanoke River all winter. Speckled trout fishing has been as good as it gets. Sightfishing redfish has been good when the weather permits. The fish are falling into their winter patterns and the water is clearing up on the Pamlico Sound.

Jake was more then great with our group, from the beginning he showed us kindness and walked us through everything, great guide and friend to talk to out on the water, caught some hogs while with him, had a great time👍💪
Mike and the crew were awesome! We headed out despite rough seas and they put us on fish! We brought in over 50 fish and it wore us out! Mike and Kyle were great and kept First mate Kody busy helping us out all day as the fish were coming in! He was wonderful! A+ and highly recommend them!
Our eco/island hopping/dolphin watching boat tour with Mike was amazing. He made sure we saw everything we came to see. My son saw dolphins in the wild up close for the first time. Each island stop was so cool seeing the different birds and water creatures. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the area. Highly recommend!!!
Aaron was a great guild!! He was very knowledgeable and knew all the greats spots to fish. We was very personable as well. Next time we’re in the OBX he will be our guy for a fishing trip! Thanks Aaron!!
Joey was awesome found decent fishing even on a not so great fishing day. Even helped get with a little fishing injury trick I had never seen before. Definitely a skill I will never forget and wish I had known when my kids were little.
I would give the overall trip a 6 out of 10,
Mike our guide did all he could to put os on fish, without much luck. I believe the wind was a factor and in our never leaving the shallow sound areas. Also Mike stated with a child aboard he wasn’t comfortable with leaving the shallower sound areas. The overall experience was not what it was advertised to be. Maybe we will have better luck next time.
