blue fishing is still been very good around the sound in Hatteras. Also the red drum bite on cut bait has really picked up with the cooler water. Sheepshead fishing has been very good when you can get out on the wrecks outside the inlet or around the ferry basin on the Ocracoke side of Hatteras inlet using sand fleas and hermit crabs. As the winter progresses we will fishing in the Albemarle sound for stripers and targeting big catfish on the Roanoke River all winter. Has been great bluefishing casting sting silvers around the inlet along with some red drum on cut mullet and in the backwaters of the sound has been speckled trout and grey trout casting 1/4 oz jigs with zman 3 in minnowz in natural color

You might get lucky (as long as things are in-season).

Captain greg was amazing ! He was very involved in the trip & dedicated to making sure we all caught something & were having a good time. We had the best time fishing & would definitely be something we would do again. Thank you captain greg for everything we appreciate you !
Frank was great. We hit the water early and saw a beautiful sunrise. We drift fished a few places and didn’t have any luck. He then found a spot with blues hitting the bait but we got skunked today. It was still a great day on the water. I highly recommend Frank.
Captain Frank is the real deal of OBX when it comes to fishing! He is a very knowledgeable friendly captain ready to accommodate your fishing experience. Would book again every time with my family!
We have a great morning with Captain Joey. We went across the sound that morning and caught a bunch of beautiful trout. We also caught ribbon fish and croaker . It was fun because we were always on Fish.
We would gladly go with captain Joey again
Fishing trip with Captain Jimmy Pititti on Pamlico sound was a pleasant experience! We had some fun and close sightings with Dolphins but not much fish that day. Thank you Jimmy for sharing your vast knowledge of local history. Terri Lynn Boyd
Had a great time fishing with Captain Jimmy, caught a bluefish and a spotted sea trout on our morning outing. We only needed to bring ourselves and a cooler of drinks and snacks, he handled the rest, including poles, rigging, and fixing tangled & snapped lines. We only wish we would have planned our trip in spring or fall so we could catch even more fish, but we were satisfied with what we caught for the time of year (late July) and the recent very hot conditions. Highly recommended experience with Captain Jimmy!
