Sea mullet aka whiting bite is also really good. Seeing 75-100 plus fish most trips. Probably the best tasting fish inshore in my opinion.

We are catching black drum on cut shrimp. The redfish are coming on topwater plugs, soft plastics and gold spoons. The big 10# plus bluefish have shown up in the Neuse estuary are we are targeting them with topwater plugs, 1 1/8 ounce weedless spoons and 8" swimbaits

The blacks drum bite remains solid at the jetty's and the ocean is coming to life with bluefish. Atlantic bonito and Spanish mackerel are going to be right behind the blues, with some already showing up on our nearshore reefs.

The Bonita are finally arriving along the beaches and we will chase these sushi grade speedsters casting metal, trolling spoons, and live baiting. The Chopper Bluefish are on the shoals and smashing topwater. And some jumbo False Albacore up to 25lbs are in the mix. Seabass fishing is solid in 80 to 100ft and the vermillion snapper, triggerfish are joining them. Great time of the year and it will only get better in the coming weeks as cobia and Spanish Mackerel arrive.

What an awesome 1/2 day trip we had with Mike. It was my husband, me, and our 17-year-old son (who has high-functioning autism). Mike was awesome and explained everything very well. He kept taking us to different places until we landed some fish. It was an awesome experience.

Carson was a great guide with plentiful of knowledge of the lake Tillery. He informed me about fish behavior and how it impacts the probability to be able to be successful. It was my first experience with the live scan and I love it. With live scan you can see the behavior of fish and how they travel through the waterway, increasing your chances of landing one. Would highly recommend Carson for your fishing trips not only for the boat and equipment but his knowledge and experience.

Dale was phenomenal. He new the bait and the honey hole. Put us on the fish and sent us home with cleaned dinner. I will absolutely be back and will only go out on the water with him when in the area. 11 out of 10!

Great experience! I'm fairly certain the man speaks fish. They were cold from the recent storm, but Mike knew just where to put us and the moment the sun came up we were on 'em. Cannot speak highly enough of Mike
