About Your Trip

Get out there and explore the inshore and nearshore waters surrounding Atlantic Beach, NC with me, Captain Justin! This trip is perfect for those looking to chase a variety of inshore species that dwell in the waters of the Crystal Coast of NC including Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Sheephead, and Flounder. In addition to these inshore species we chase nearshore species including spanish mackerel, bluefish, false albacore, bonito, and cobia around the inlets and nearshore waters of Cape Lookout.

I love being on the water and sharing the angling experience, and my goal is to introduce you to all that the Crystal Coast has to offer, from gorgeous sunrises to pods of porpoises, skimming pelicans, massive sea turtles, and of course, great fishing. Depending upon our quarry we will use a variety of techniques including both artificial and natural bait presentations from casting to jigging to trolling to bottomfishng. But regardless of the target, light tackle is the goal. We welcome all levels of experience and all ages. Our goal is to put the client on the best possible conditions and off the flexibility to fish the tides and around the weather as needed. I don't know quit when it comes to chasing tails and I encourage hands on participation. Maximize the good times with us.

Step off the dock aboard a 22' Tidewater bay boat with half tower, ready to fish everything this part of North Carolina has to offer from the shallows of the sounds, rivers, and marshes to nearshore reefs and shoals of the Atlantic Ocean. Rigged with a 200HP Yamaha VMax outboard, Power Pole Move trolling motor, and Lowrance electronics she will have us on the spot and ready to fish. I come prepared with everything you need for a great day, including top-of-the-line rods, reels, bait, and tackle. Bring along proper clothing, sunscreen, and a pair of sunglasse to maximize your time on the water.

We had the best morning with Justin! He was friendly, engaging, and provided a lot of education on the area, the water, the fish, and fishing. We got to explore many different parts of the river to ensure we had ample opportunities to catch both speckled trout and red drum. We also followed a pod of porpoises, which was a fun diversion.

Justin cleaned our fish at the end of our
excursion which we took home and prepared that evening for dinner. Delicious fish tacos thanks for Justin's guidance and navigation! We look forward to returning to the area and having Justin take us out for another fabulous adventure.
