Fishing reports straight from our guides in Choctawhatchee Bay
Spanish Mackerel have shown up in pretty good numbers inshore and Vermillion snapper are plentiful on 6 hour trips. Cobia are due any day now. There have been some 40lb Kingfish around as well but not so plentiful as to go and target them. There have been some reports that trout and redfish are biting in the bay.

The weather has been up and down, but I've been able to move the trips to better days. There is not much open to keep in the gulf ,so I have been doing well inshore. We mostly caught mangrove snapper, and a few other species.

The water is heating up which means the fish are following. Surf fishing for pompano is starting to turn on and redfish and trout in the bay are moving to shallower water to feed. Trout just opened March 1st so time to get after them!

Triggerfish season started today, bite was solid and finding a day for calm seas like today is hard but the fishing is definitely picking up! Trolling is producing a few blackfin tuna and deep drop is producing some File Fish

Weather is getting warmer and the fish are biting. Good vermilion snapper bite for some dinner or lunch. Almaco jacks also plenty of big snapper to catch and release along with some black snapper that are always in season.Cobia fishing just around the corner

Weathers been good, fish are biting, and going to do nothing but get better with the warmer temps!!! Mingo snapper, flounder, amberjack, red snapper and triggerfish are mainly what we are catching!!!
