The bite's been hot lately! Lots of solid trout hitting the decks, plenty of big kingfish keeping lines tight, and even a few nice reds showing up. When the weather gives us a window, the fishing's been on fire!

Redfish has been great with the falling tides due and low water levels to the dry fronts we have been receiving. Also lots of tidal movement with this full moon. Black drum are on the flats and near points that have shell.

The CATCHING has been awesome for the last 10 days or so. The lower tides had made it so easy to catch a lot of reds and black drums. Now with the water coming back, I have had to be following the fish as they move into different areas as tides rise. These kinds of conditions will continue until we stop receiving fronts. April and May are great times in which. I have plenty of dates availableand I am sure we can get you worked in.

A beautiful red this morning with Ashley using cut crab. Young Lady with a 28” red catching with cut mullet. A 30” Big Red For A Young Fisherman in a Small Creek. The Capt with a Full Limit of Reds 30”28”24”22” a good day.

    I brought my teenage sons to Rockport for their first red trip. Tommy was the perfect guide for us. He was patient, helpful and took the time to teach us about the reds and how they move. He talked to them about proper technique and how important it is to be patient. Tommy is the best. And he put us on fish as soon as the anchor dropped. The boys had the best day they’ve ever had fishing. We landed ten and put 6 in the cooler. My son Zeke landed the red of the day at 31.5”. He gladly released the fatty when Tommy explained the importance of those big fish to the breeding cycle. All in all a perfect day on the water thanks to Tommy. We’ll see you again Captain.

    Redfish Success with Captain Tommy – Rockport, TX Despite a windy day and high water near Aransas Pass, Captain Tommy put us right on the fish. The flats were tough, but he still knocked out a two-man limit of redfish in just three hours—no small feat under those conditions. His personality was a great mix of humor and local know-how. While he didn’t spill too many trade secrets (understandably!), he kept the trip engaging and productive. If you’re chasing reds around Rockport, he’s absolutely worth booking. Solid guide, solid results.
