Not a bad week, it was windy but that's about all. Morning and afternoon bites are decent. Seeing lots of fish activity in west Galveston bay. Sharks and stingrays are back so be mindful of them. Fish are eating on live or dead shrimp and smaller paddle tails and jerk shad lures.

Weekly Report (2/13-2/21/26):

We are still catching good numbers of sheepshead & puppy drum on live shrimp & large black drum on cracked crab at Galveston Jetties. We are starting to see a few speckled trout and slot redfish. Best bite has been in the mornings on tidal changes.

Captain Lance gave us the shark trip of a lifetime! From the moment we got on the boat, he was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone had a great time. We ended up catching some big stingrays and several awesome sharks, and every fight had us pumped. Captain Lance worked hard to keep us on fish and was always willing to help, answer questions, and make sure we had the best experience possible. Great experience with Pedro, caught many species of fish by the jetties, then we went after sharks and we hooked 2, one 4ft black tip (amazing areal show) but broke my lines, then a hammer head that was 6ft plus but broke out line right at the boat, all in all great outing.

Out guide, Kevin, did an excellent job, and I would highly recommend him. There were four of us in our group including 2 experienced anglers, one semi experienced, and one who was very inexperienced. Kevin did a great job keeping everyone involved, baited, and altered approaches based on skill level. He worked very hard to put us on fish. He even cleaned our fish at the end of the trip. Again, I would higly recommend.
