In the river here in New Smyrna Beach the fishing has held up nicely. We have been regularly getting Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder and Snook. With the cancellation of Red Snapper season this has put a lot more pressure on other fisheries but they have held up.

This fishing has been excellent in the Indian and Banana River lagoons around Melbourne, FL. I've been out of commission for a couple weeks with a bad shoulder, but I am ready to get back at it next week. Everything is biting right now Redfish, Tarpon, Snook, Black Drum, Seatrout, Mangrove Snappers, and more! It is one of the best times of the year to fish. I am nearly full for the rest of May, but I have plenty of June dates left. The Snook, Tarpon, and Black Drum bite should be epic in June!

Been getting better in the Ponce inlet area with wind and swell coming down a bit. Still plenty of sheepshead, slot Reds, a few trout and starting to see some mangrove snapper and nice flounder.

Red fish bite still continues to be very good with higher water after the recent rains as well as the east winds look for the Reds to start moving onto the shorelines chasing bait. As we start getting into the spring, the offshore bike should start turning on with typically calm seas. Nearshore as the ocean temperatures rise start keep an eye out for schools of tarpon moving up the beach, as well as still may be a few manta rays with Cobia.

Couldn’t recommend enough. Kenny was really knowledgeable, a great coach, had a great set up and made sure we had plenty of decent catches. We also got the opportunity to spot some local wildlife along the way. Would definitely book with him again in the future.
Dam good trip with Cap. Kenny, enjoyed our opportunity to fish wit him it was a pleasure to be on his boat with an experienced Cap.
