These beasts were landed just after hurricane Ian ran through. We headed out early on the day after land fall. Pilchards had moved into the creaks by the thousands making for easy bait opportunities. Weather has been some windy days and other days completely calm and off the chain for the Wahoo bite. Offshore has been action packed. We are catching Wahoo in 100-230 feet, they love to bite when there is a overcast and minimal seas. We expect them to stick around and keep slaying them; just like last year. As they make the perfect eating as raw, sushi, cooked, or, smoked as fish dip! Last week on a full- day offshore with Team Redbull; Ace of Spades released 4 Sailfish (Captain Maurices favorite).
