I took my great friend and client Micah out yesterday and we completely wrecked the bass along with our hands! We caught somewhere between 50-60 bass we both lost count 😂 It was seriously a day to remember. Between not having time to talk because we caught so many fish to me somehow losing a rod over the side of boat because a little baby bass grabbed my lure and pulled my rod in when I was not looking. No worries I actually caught it back off the bottom of the lake with a giant weight and hook!!! Then Micah...

Then Micah caught 5 bass on his first 5 casts with an A-rig (He had never thrown one before) and some old guys were fishing near us and could not believe how many fish he kept catching on it while they could not catch anything. I promise you it’s not all the guide. Micah flat out knows how to catch bass!!! Thank you for the memories Micah that I will never forget!
Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking Lars, Caroline and Abby out fishing. These are the clients you dream of. 😄😄 Super nice and great company! What a great day! With this massive cold front coming through Florida a few days ago with nights being in the low 30s for 3 straight days. They did not bite that well until the afternoon. We still caught them, of course on shiners. 😉 The bite should be getting better and better as the days warm that water up a few degrees and they’re just about ready to spawn! So get ready to...

Couldn't ask for better conditions here in S.E. Florida for Peacock Bass and Clownknife Fish. Weathers been Ideal for 50 fish mornings. Baits been plentiful and can tell by how healthy these fish look that nows the time to book ya a fish'n trip of a lifetime. New to fishing? Knot a problem, I'll do whatever's nessessary for an Unforgateable Experience. Hope to Sea-Ya on the water! Capt. Skip

The bite will be pure outrageous once it hits 78 degrees. Right after Ian it dropped to 78 and bite was insane and fish were concentrated. Temps are still up at 80 degrees at the moment and there are fish there… but you have to cover quite a few miles to be productive.

Went out offshore this morning, clients hooked into 3 King Macks quick, then a pod of Dolphins moved in on us. Kings went down. and when the kings go down like that you’re wasting your time to stick around so we bumped it offshore. Hooked into a good size Mahi, had another ~20 pounder bust off. Then things went cold. So we picked it up and motored back to one of my favorite spots where we picked up a Bonito, 2 Baracuda, a 4-5ft Silky Shark, and to top it all off two lunker Black Fin Tuna! First was right...

First was right under 20lbs and the second was pushing 30lbs if not over. Absolute studs. As far as an outlook goes, with this wind picking up and Tropical noise pushing up our way, we’ll be inland bass fishing for the next couple days. But given the bite today and recently, once the swells die down out there next week, I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be on Like Crazy!
Our peacocks are still on fire, just got to know where to find them this time of year. Catching 30-40 per 4 hour trip on live bait. We had a guy from Tennessee on Sunday that got 37 peacocks and had the trip of his lifetime!

The lake has come up with the recent rains which has cooled the water and it’s got the fish moving around the lake! They are biting well on plastic worms and top waters in morning but for most the best bite has been the live wild shiners floated under a cork, we have bass boats for one to three customers or pontoons if you wish to bring family and or friends!

My wife, my son, and i went on a 4 hour Everglades trip with Jose and it was one of the highlights of our vacation. We caught probably 40-50 fish in 4 hours! Jose was incredibly friendly and entertaining. I would absolutely pay to fish with him again.
Unfortunately the Everglades had up to 3 inches of rain the night before, therefore the fishing was not good. He then hooked us up with Greg Hutch and we salt water fished the following morning. Had fun with both, just better fishing in the ocean.
10/10 we had a great time, Jose was great. He knew where all the big fish were, and I ended up catching my personal best large mouth bass! Definitely recommend Jose with captain experiences, we are definitely gonna book with him again in the future!
What a day! JP was outstanding! He was great at showing us technique and coaching us all day long. His expertise of the area was evident immediately. We moved spots and had success at every stop. Caught BIG BASS, largemouth and peacocks. We will be back, only with JP!
JP was an amazing guide. He took us to a few great spots where we found some awesome variety of fish species. Coming from Chicago, it was a great experience to find Oscars, Cichlids, Gar, Dogfish, and a few big schools of Largemouth Bass. Going through the Everglades we saw a bunch of Alligators and other cool wildlife too. My son will talk about this trip for years to come, he'll never forget it.
Thanks JP!
