Lotta Reds and Drum. Tarpon are here too when its right but have not been messing with them lately. Trout are off and on. Waders catching them mostly.

Fishing has been very good, with redfish and drum activity feeding on shrimp and crabs. Lots of tailing pods and single cruising fish

There have been a lot of fish on the flats, but cloudy skies make it challenging. Still possible to get out and catch some great fish

Past couple of weeks have definitely meant focusing on a sunrise bite. With the hot temperatures fish have been dropping off into deeper water very soon after sunrise.

The summer fishing has been very good, with lots of tailing fish. At least as long as the flats are quiet, plan on an earlier than normal start and finish (same time on the water) to avoid the afternoon heat. However the coastal winds keep it cooler than inland Texas.
