With summer coming to an end and high waters right now we are finding nice reds snook and some trout along the mangrove lines. As we dive into fall/ winter we will be targeting reds, black drum, and other species. Offshore has been on fire. King fish and tarpon have been awesome nearshore. Out on the wrecks and reefs we've been catching kings, barracuda, mixed snapper, grouper, Cobia, and Amber Jack. Shark fishing has been absolutely awesome as well!

The gag grouper bite is on fire right now. We are using live pinfish and casting plugs and trolling plugs. We are focusing on 8ft to 30ft of water rocks and ledges.

The Trout Bite is as HOT as the Temperature! We went out early to avoid as much heat as possible. We watch the sun come up and the bait shower across the water in front of us. No sooner did the sunlight hit the water and the first trout hit the deck! We reeled in some small ones and a couple of slot sized ones and decided to move a little. I don’t know if the dolphins were leading or following but everywhere we found good fish they seemed to find us! We were almost ready to come in when Josh got a runaway hit and a 27” Snook exploded out of the water and it was a sight to see! That Snook put up a good fight but it ended way too soon. It was a good way to end the day!

With the storm and the full moon passing. The redfish bite has exploded. When in the right spot it's not unheard-of to catch 20-100 fish. This is highly possible for the next two months.
