Flounder fishing out of Tarpon Springs has been pretty good over the past few weeks, with fish showing up in good numbers around the rocky-sandy mixed areas and along the edges of structure. We’ve been finding them lying tight to the bottom, with shrimp and small baitfish producing the best bites. There have been plenty of smaller snapper around, but we’ve been seeing some nice keeper-sized flounder mixed in. Fishing the beautiful waters of key west
It's always an experience getting down here to key west to do some fishing and diving, and this year has not disappointed. I would have to say the theme is less people more lobsters. We are into our regular lobster season now catching our limit. Every single day conditions have been so beautiful.
We ran out to 1860 feet of water this past Tuesday landed right in a school of beautiful mahi. After we had our way with them trolling, we busted out the top water plugs and we're catching 10 to 15...

The following day we decided to get into some 1000 foot deep bottom fishing. The golden tiles were on it along with some beautiful snowy grouper.
We're going to be here for a few more weeks so come see what this beautiful paradise has got to offer. The water is so clear if you look, you're going to see something beautiful.

Bite is getting very good. All this rain has dropped the water temperature significantly and has made both Instead and nearshore fishing start to fire off. Big snook, redfish and tarpon inshore. Cobia, flounder, snapper and grouper nearshore

Snook, trout and redfish are all in the mix right now with some larger fish mixed in.Healthy snook and redfish a being pulled out from under the mangrove tree lines. Live scaled sardines and pinfish have been the bait of choice! If you're looking for table fair you can't beat the mangrove snapper that are also feeding on scaled sardines and shrimp.
