Our catches in Galveston Bay have been steady. These aren't jetty trips where you drop your bait on the bottom and hope for a bite. We fish all of Galveston Bay, going to locations known to produce fish. We may not catch them all the time, but we're able to make moves, ensuring our anglers have the best chance to catch trout, reds, black drum, and sheepshead. This time of year is dependent upon the weather, but if it's not just blown completely out, we usually find some fish.

Man the last few weeks have been so much fun! Literally non-stop action from the beginning of the trip to the very end. Some trips we even had to go buy more bait because we had caught so many! We have been targeting oyster reefs in 2 to 4 ft of water on an incoming tide with a popping cork and shrimp suspended 1 ft below the cork! From monster reds to delicious speckled trout and black drum with the occasional big sheep head in the mix! If you're looking for a Non-Stop action trip with lots of laughs, give

Trinity bay Temps are high 80s. Alot of fish are deep and hungry. Small trout and skipjacks are running the shallows on incoming tides. Reds are staying deep in channels and deep reefs. Black drum are everywhere, with sheepshead mixed in with them. The go-to bait are live shrimp and fresh dead shrimp on popping cork, artifical and also bottom rigs.

Fishing in trinity bay has been great with quick limits. Reef, rocks, and structures have been holding fish. Reds, Trout, Blackdrum have been biting prominently on shrimp under cork and with good tide movement on bottom rigs. Sheepshead have been of good size hitting on shrimp as well. Tons of bait moving around the bay system. This weekend between the bad weather should be great fishing with the waters cooling down a little.

Had awesome time with Traver! Really good guy and he will put you on the fish. We did a 6 hour trip and caught a mixed bag of redfish, black drum and flounder.
Ken was wonderful. It felt like fishing with an old fishing buddy. Very personable, very friendly and laid back experience.
Ken knows the area, and the best spots well. He was also very conciencious. Our family felt perfectly safe the entire time.
I had the best trip out with Captain Leb and his brother. As a VERY novice fisherman, I felt comfortable and at ease. They taught me so much and time just flew by. I cannot recommend this charter enough- they are kind, funny, and of course knowledgeable. Bonus: it was just me, a female, on the trip. Felt like I was fishing with two of my brothers. Can’t wait to get back down here.
Mark was a great guide. I’ve been on many charters but Mark definitely took things to a whole new level. He made sure we caught a fish and helped us the entire catch. Mark is very knowledgeable in his craft and I’ll definitely be returning to him in the near future.
Captain Ghana was an excellent captain, he was very attentive, patient, and fun. He gave us cool history facts along the ride. Very good at giving directions for making the whole fishing trip go as smoothly as possible. Thankyou Captain Ghana!!
Captain Leb was a great guide! It was my 2nd time red fishing. He gave me a lot of tips on how to fish for the red fish that were extremely helpful. We caught many red, black drum, and flounder and he filet out take homes to how we requested. I will definitely book with him again next year.
